Evesham man arrested at Walmart for shoplifting and drug possession

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On Jan. 8, Evesham Police officers were called to the Walmart Store, 150 East Route 70, for a male who attempted to shoplift automotive supplies.

During the arrest officer’s located pharmaceutical drugs, empty heroin packets and a hypodermic needle in the male’s pockets.

Arrested:

A male, age 30, of Marlton, charged with third degree possession of pharmaceutical drugs and disorderly persons offenses for shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. He was turned over the Medford Police Department, where he had two pending arrest warrants
