Battleship New Jersey once again place to view New Year’s Eve fireworks

The decks of the Battleship New Jersey will once again offer views of the New Year’s Eve fireworks shows over the Delaware River. The ship opens to the public at 4 p.m. for the 6 p.m. fireworks and at 10 p.m. for the midnight fireworks for a $10 per person donation. The ship is also hosting dinner and breakfast in the crew’s mess, tours the ship and an opportunity to sleep in the bunks for $72 per person.

Berthed on the Camden Waterfront across the Delaware River from Center City Philadelphia, the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial is a non-profit historic ship museum that offers tours Saturdays and Sundays, as well as a few special weekdays, through December. Consult the Battleship’s website for a schedule. The Battleship also offers overnight encampments for youth groups and families, special group and student tours and event rentals with a full catering menu.
