Tree of Life ceremony returns to Medford on Dec. 9

The Medford community is encouraged to gather family and friends to celebrate the season as Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice presents a Tree of Life ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Medford Memorial Middle School.

The candlelight ceremony, which is open to the public, features inspirational readings and music provided by Samaritan’s Music Therapist Carrie Rupnow-Kidd, followed by fellowship and refreshments provided by the Woman’s Club of Medford.

Individuals may dedicate a light on the tree in memory of someone who has passed on or in honor of someone special in their life. Proceeds from optional donations benefit the patients, families and programs of Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice.

For more information or to dedicate a light, contact the Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice’s Judy Matthews at (856) 552–3242.
