Indian Mills Parent Advisory Cooperative Team will host a discussion on “Bullying Prevention Strategies” presented by Michelle Tyler of SPAN on Thursday, Nov. 20 in the media center at the Indian Mills Memorial School, 295 Indian Mills Road. There will be a meet and greet and 6:30 p.m. with the presentation following at 7 p.m.
Bullying is a harmful action toward another student or any act that infringes on a student’s rights at school. It is important to know ways to prevent and respond to bullying in school. This presentation will discuss what schools are required to do under the law including creating a positive environment for all students.
