Former Medford board of education member to return after winning election

A familiar face will return to Medford Township Board of Education in 2015.

Former board member Trudy Cole won a seat on the board alongside incumbents Katherine Santamore and Amy Duca. The trio ran unopposed for their seats.

Medford also had a seat up for election in the Lenape Regional High School District. Current board president David Stow won reelection after running uncontested for his seat.

In the U.S. Senate election, Cory Booker (D) defeated Jeff Bell (R) by a tally of 997,331 votes to 762,981. Tom MacArthur (R) defeated Aimee Belgard (D) 95,166 to 75,972 in the third congressional district election.

In the freeholder election, republicans Bruce Garganio and Mary Ann O’ Brien defeated democrats Tom Pullion and Michael Schmidt with 52.55 percent of the vote.
