The 33rd running of the Haddonfield 5K Road Race will be on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. and is sponsored by the Haddonfield Y’s Service Club. The race, over a challenging and certified course, is run through the streets of the Borough, will start and finish at the Crow’s Woods Recreation area in Haddonfield. Quality long sleeve shirts will be given to all runners.
Race entry forms are available at the Haddonfield Running Store, Her Sports, the Borough Hall and at local YMCA’s. Entry fee for this year’s race is $20 if received by Nov. 1, and $25 after that date. Race packets will be available for pick up at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the race at the Crow’s Woods Field House.
Awards will be presented to the top three males and female finishers overall and to the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 59 and 60 and over. All awards and refreshments for runners will be presented following the race at the Crow’s Woods Field House.
Proceeds from the Haddonfield 5K Road Race will benefit youth and community activities in the county. The Y’s Service club is the International Service Club of the YMCA and was founded in 1949.
