Carol: Must See Now
Recently we saw Nebraska which was a relationship story between a father and a son. This is similar but so much more intense. Robert Downey, Jr. and Robert Duvall are just terrific and could be their best roles ever. The support cast with Vincent D’Onofrio and Jeremy Strong adds a strong background presence to the leading cast. Finally, something worth the price of admission. It’s been a long dry-spell.
Phil: Worth The Matinee Price
An interesting movie starring Robert Downey Junior and Robert Duvall. Perhaps the best part of the movie is watching each of these excellent actors ply their trade.
While ostensibly a courtroom drama, in reality, it’s a story about father and son.
