Moorestown hosts Fire Prevention Week

Moorestown’s Fire Prevention Week Activities is about to begin!

On Monday, Oct. 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. residents can have the opportunity to take a ride in a genuine fire truck. The event will take place at Lenola Fire Company Station 313 at 229 North Lenola Road. There will be fire safety handouts for adults, fire truck and ambulance displays, equipment demos and much more!

All of Moorestown’s fire stations, 311, 312 and 313 will have outdoor displays and demonstrations at the Upper Elementary School on Borton Landing Road on Friday, Oct. 10. The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be free fire helmets and kids will get the opportunity to use an actual fire hose! Firetruck rides are also available. There will be adult handouts on babysitting, smoke detectors, heating equipment, general fire safety, carbon monoxide, home escape planning and senior citizen safety.
