Obituary: Ian M. Cameron

On Sept. 17, Ian M. Cameron passed away at the age of 34.

He was the beloved husband of Ashley (nee Gibbon); cherished son of Donna and Ross Cameron; dear brother of Samantha Cameron; and loving uncle of Greta Cameron. He is also survived by multitudinous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

Cameron graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School in 1998 and Rutgers University Camden. He was an avid and accomplished cyclist, who worked in a variety of capacities at Danzeisen & Quigley’s Bicycle Shop. Additionally, he was a budding entrepreneur in the liquor distribution industry. He was at his happiest on his bicycle and counted Star Trek, ice hockey, and good food among his favorite things. In recent years, he rekindled his childhood love of LEGO, enthusiastically joining the ranks of Adult Fans of LEGO everywhere.

Cameron’s family and friends held his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Protestant Community Church, Cathedral in the Woods, located at 100 Stokes Road in Medford Lakes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cameron’s name to CaringBridge Donation Processing Center at PO Box 6032, Albert Lea, MN 56007–6632 or via the Tribute tab on Cameron’s page: www.caringbridge.org/visit/ianmcameron.
