Lenape girls’ soccer battled Shawnee to a 1–1 tie on Wednesday afternoon in Olympic Conference play. The Indians led for much of the game thanks to an early goal from Lizzie Kinkler. Lenape retained the lead until late, when the Renegades tied it up on a Taylor Ryan goal.
Kenie Wright had an assist on Kinkler’s goal in the first half. Goalkeeper Alicia Hampton made 10 saves in the game.
Lenape is back in action on Friday, Sept. 19 when they host Washington Twp.
