Mt. Laurel Library hosting youth painting exhibit in Sept.
Mt. Laurel Library will be hosting a mosaic and painting exhibit by 35 young artists from Sunday, Sept. 7 to Sunday, Sept. 28. A “Meet the Young Artists” reception will be held on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided. All are welcome.
The young artists are between the ages of 6 and 13. They have been learning calligraphy, drawing and painting from art teacher Hema Mikkilineni. The students have been learning techniques such as composition, perspective, color mixing, graduated toning, glazing, etc.
