Prevent Child Abuse- New Jersey announces new Director

Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing child abuse in all its forms for all children in New Jersey, has announced the selection of its new Director of Development and Communications, Pamela DePompo of Haddonfield.

“I am very pleased to announce this appointment,” reported Rush L. Russell, executive director. “Pamela will bring enthusiasm and creativity to our fund raising initiatives and a deep sense of commitment to the children and families we serve. She has led nonprofits in fund raising and executive levels and has a breadth of perspective and experience.”

DePompo most recently served as executive director of Healing the Children New Jersey in Hawthorne. Previously, she held leadership roles at New Eyes for the Needy, Short Hills, The Arc of Hunterdon, Annandale and Institute for Community Living, New York.

“I am excited to join PCA-NJ, a recognized national leader in prevention of child abuse, using evidence-based practices. I hope to help PCA-NJ grow and create an even greater impact by working with our board, staff and volunteers to ensure happy, healthy and safe childhoods for all New Jersey children.”
