Burlington County Special Services School District Education Foundation hosting golf outing on Aug. 8

SpecialServices

The Burlington County Special Services School District Education Foundation is hosting its 16th annual Golf Outing on Aug. 8 at the Medford Lakes Country Club.

For the past sixteen years, the BCSSSD Educational Foundation has been helping students with disabilities that attend the school from various towns in Burlington County and the surrounding area. The foundation supports weekend respite days for families of BCSSSD students, graduation activities and other needed specialized supports such as physical therapy equipment. Events such as this golf outing provide the necessary funds to support the foundation’s mission.

“This is a great opportunity to help the most fragile in our community,” foundation president, Paula Lynch said.

This year’s event begins at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 8 at the Medford Lakes Country Club, 70 Oak Drive, Medford. There are sponsorship opportunities for companies, who wish to get involved, as well as door prizes, silent auction and a luncheon. Pellegrino Auto Group has donated a 2-year lease on a 2014 Jeep Cherokee for the first golfer to make a “Hole-In -One” on the seventh hole.

For more information, please contact Josephine Mercantini-Bocci or Paula Lynch, golf committee members at (609) 702–0500 ext. 7406 or jbocci@bcsssd.k12.nj.us. Golf hole sponsorship forms can be found at the school’s website www.bcsssd.k12.nj.us.

The Burlington County Special Services Education Foundation is located at 20 Pioneer Blvd., Westampton, 08060.
