Many of Downtown Haddonfield’s signature stores throughout Haddonfield’s Business District have been named among the ‘Best of the Best 2014’ in South Jersey Magazine and as ‘Best of SJ 2014’ by SJ Magazine.
For South Jersey Magazine’s ‘Best of the Best 2014’ edition, judges combed through every town in the tri-county region (Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties) in search of standout stars and hidden gems that help make the South Jersey area so exciting. Loyal readers were asked to go online and vote for their favorite places as well.
Downtown Haddonfield was named the South Jersey Magazine’s ‘Best of the Best 2014’ Main Street Shopping District. In addition, Haddonfield Fine Jewelers and MirAno’s Barbershop also received the Best of the Best accolade; and Da Soli and Hollingsworth Cookies & Fine Desserts were named ‘Best of the Best Readers’ Choice 2014.’
Haddonfield’s main street shopping district was described as vibrant, clean and safe. Haddonfield Fine Jewelers caught the eyes of South Jersey Magazine judges for their one-of-a-kind pieces and top-notch services for repair and care of sentimental watches; and MirAno’s Barbershop won over South Jersey Magazine judges with its ode to the barbershops of yesteryear.
Many additional Downtown Haddonfield shops and eateries were mentioned in SJ Magazine’s collection of ‘Everything Awesome in SJ.’ The winners included Tre Famiglia for best appetizers, recognizing their array of exquisite pre-main course dishes. Ludovico’s cheesesteaks took home the title ‘best cheesesteaks in South Jersey’ for their always-fresh rolls, perfectly cooked meats and hot and gooey cheeses. Sweet T’s Bakeshop’s scrumptious cheesecake left judges with no question but to vote Sweet T’s as the best in the area. The delectable, warm and sweet hot chocolates at Coffee BouTEAque took home the title as hands down has the best hot chocolate in the area.
“We are extremely proud of our shop and eateries for receiving this recognition,” said Partnership for Haddonfield retail recruiter Remi Fortunato. “Being named South Jersey’s top shopping district and among the best in a variety of other categories says a lot about Haddonfield and what we have to offer,” she added.
