Concord Engineering teams up with PSE&G for Solar4All Program

Concord Engineering will be providing electrical code compliance review services for PSE&G’s Solar4All™ Extension Program. Solar4All is a 125 megawatt-dc program that utilizes rooftops, solar farms, utility poles and landfills/brownfields for large-scale, grid connected solar projects. As of late 2013, nearly 80 MW-dc of the 125MW-dc total are in service

Solar4All helps New Jersey reach its solar power goals, promotes a cleaner environment, turns landfills and brownfields green with solar power and spurs economic development by creating good jobs and making the state a center for solar expansion. Based on Concord’s experience with “grid connected” solar projects, and interconnecting them with the utility, Concord will provide engineering and inspection services for electrical code compliance review and site inspections of approximately five sites with centralized solar arrays ranging in size from 8MW-dc to 12MW-dc

Installing solar generating facilities on landfill and brownfield sites supports New Jersey’s Energy Master Plan. This segment is open to owners of properly closed landfill and/or remediated brownfield sites within PSE&G’s electric service territory.

Concord Engineering’s CEO Michael Fischette said, “We look forward to participating in the Solar4All program. New Jersey continues to be a national leader in solar development and we are proud to be a part of PSE&G’s program that supports job creation and renewable energy.”
