The Shawnee High School Class of 2014 bid farewell to their school as they were awarded their diplomas at their graduation ceremony on Friday evening. Friends and family filled the stands at the Shawnee football field as each of the graduates had their name read and were awarded diplomas by Shawnee and Lenape district administration.
A number of students were honored for being in the top 10 percent of their class and for receiving scholarships. Colby Schweibenz was named the valedictorian and Brendan Tecce the salutatorian. Both gave speeches in front of Friday’s capacity crowd.
