The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.
On June 16 at 9 a.m., a black bear was reported in the area of Mount Laurel Road and Hainesport Road.

Mt. Laurel Police are monitoring the bear’s movement when sighting are reported but there are no plans to take action unless a specific threat develops.
All food sources, such as trash cans, bird feeders, and pet food should be moved indoors until the bear moves out of the area.
