Medford man charged with stealing a canoe from Lake Pine Beach

The following information was provided by the Medford Township Police Department.

On June 5 at 2:41 p.m., Medford Police received a report of a stolen Grumman Canoe. The canoe was left unchained by the Lake Pine Beach off of Chestnut Road. The canoe was valued at $500.

On June 10 at 12:57 p.m., Medford Police arrested and charged a 31-year-old male for theft of the canoe, after conducting a thorough investigation and interview. It was determined the suspect sold the canoe in Camden for cash. He was released pending a court appearance.
