Burlington County and Evesham Library Kids’ Summer Reading Programs Announced

The Burlington County Library System invites kids of all ages to have a blast this summer with some sizzling good books and special programs bursting with fun.

With a focus on science, the 2014 Summer Reading Programs “Fizz, Boom, Read!” for children and “Spark a Reaction” for teens kick off June 23. Both programs run until August 16 at the County Library in Westampton and branch facilities in Bordentown, Cinnaminson, Evesham, Maple Shade, Medford, Pemberton and Riverton.

Interested readers are invited to register for the programs and pick up their reading packets at any library location beginning June 23. Throughout the summer, participants will be encouraged to keep track of whatever they read to earn prizes and have fun. The libraries will also present themed programs all summer long with activities that may include science experiments, explosive magic shows, nature explorations and more.
