Theft, vehicle break-ins top Mt. Laurel Police blotter this week

The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 26-year-old female of the 200 block of Meadow Drive, on May 16 for theft. An investigation determined that on May 14, she removed cash and credit cards from an unattended purse at the YMCA on Centerton Road. She subsequently made fraudulent purchases with the stolen credit cards at a nearby store. She was charged with theft, theft of credit cards, and credit card fraud. She was released after posting $8,500 bail.

A Medford Lakes resident reported a theft from a vehicle parked in the Future Fitness parking lot on Hovtech Boulevard. The incident occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on May 12. Cash and credit cards were taken. Entry into the vehicle was gained by forcing open the passenger side door causing approximately $250 in damage. Several fraudulent transactions were also reported with the stolen credit cards.

An employee of the New Covenant Church on Creek Road reported a theft. A window air conditioner valued at $200, was taken from the church. The incident occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. May 17.

A resident of the unit block of Byron Drive reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle. The incident occurred between 9:30 p.m., May 17, and 7 a.m., May 18. Two pairs of sunglasses, valued at $310, were taken.

A resident of the unit block of Byron Drive reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle. The incident occurred between 9 p.m., May 17, and 8 a.m., May 18. Sunglasses, change, and keys, valued at approximately $80, were taken.

A resident of the unit block of Broadacre Drive reported a criminal trespass. The incident occurred between 11:30 p.m., May 17 and 9:20 a.m., May 18. An unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing was reported missing.
