The following information was provided by the Medford Township Police Department.
On May 11 at 3:30 p.m., Medford Township Police responded to Forest Avenue for a report that a male subject had parked his vehicle across the roadway and was currently causing a disturbance while lying on other vehicles in the area.
Police located a 19-year-old male, determined he was under the influence of alcohol and placed him under arrest for DWI. The investigation also led to the recovery of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as a smoking pipe with residue located within the male’s vehicle.
The male was later charged with DWI, refusal to submit a breath sample, reckless driving, failure to maintain a travel lane, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled dangerous substance under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released to a family member without incident.
