Moorestown Business Association set to host Moorestown Day June 7

Thousands of people will descend on Moorestown’s Main Street on D-Day, Saturday, June 7, as the town celebrates Moorestown Day. For its 38th annual festival, the Moorestown Business Association (MBA) is planning a “3D-Day” with delicious food, delightful entertainment and down home fun for all.

From 9 to 3 p.m., more than 200 merchants and vendors will line Moorestown’s historic thoroughfare. In addition to the food court, families can enjoy entertainment in our new Kids’ Zone located near the Chester Avenue end of Main Street. The Kids’ Zone will feature a giant slide and other fun games, a petting zoo, Camel rides, face painters, a balloon artist and a DJ. The ever popular Pie Eating Contest will be hosted this Year by The Pie Lady Café. Sign ups for this event will take place at the Café.

The shuttle will drop you and your family off at High Street, one block from the center of the action.

Again this year, Moorestown Day will be held on the same day as the 30th Annual Scott Coffee Memorial Rotary 8K Run, which starts at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Moorestown Community House. Boasting nearly 1,000 participants, the run adds to the festive atmosphere of the day. For more information about the run visit www.runningintheusa.com/moorestown.
