Seneca High School graduates continue success at college level

Sarah A. Moskalow of Shamong, was inducted to the Delta Alpha Pi honor society at Lebanon Valley College during inquiry 2014, the college’s two week long celebration of the scholarly, scientific and creative achievements of the student body. Moskalow is pursuing a bachelor of arts and bachelor of science in criminal justice and accounting and is a graduate of Seneca High School.

Seneca High School 2013 alumnus and current Rowan University student Joe Jordan won Rowan’s 2014 Denise Gess Literary Awards competition for his collection of poetry titled “Observations and a Cozy Chair.” The competition has three categories: fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Jordan was the only freshman to place.

Evan Kerstetter of Shamong earned dean’s list honors at St. Joseph’s University for the fall 2013 semester. Kerstetter is majoring in finance at the university. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester.
