Cherry Hill high school seniors to be honored as “Best of Class of 2014”

Camden County will honor 23 Cherry Hill high school seniors for their accomplishments as the “Best of Class of 2014” on May 6 at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom.

“The students are ‘unsung heroes’ chosen by their schools for taking pride in academic achievement and striving to do their best to improve themselves while helping others in the process,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.

The Freeholder Board’s “Best of Class” awards honor students in seven categories: most courageous, community service, leadership, performing arts, most improved, school spirit and best overall. The winners will be accompanied by parents, friends and school administrators.

The awards recipients from Cherry Hill are:
• Madeline Berman — Cherry Hill High School East (leadership award)
• John Paul Calzonetti — Bishop Eustace Prep (most improved student)
• Alanna Campbell — The King’s Christian School (performing arts student)
• Shannon Cantanella — Gloucester Catholic High School (most courageous student)
• Charles Donegan — Camden County Technical School (most courageous student)
• Victoria Flood — Camden Catholic High School (school spirit award)
• Jordan Friedman — Cherry Hill High School East (most courageous student)
• Zach Friedman — Cherry Hill High School East (school spirit award)
• Ryan Gallagher — Cherry Hill High School West (best overall student)
• Lydia George-Koku — Cherry Hill High School East (best overall student)
• Eytan Gittler — Cherry Hill High School West (community service award)
• Chelsea Holday — Cherry Hill High School West (most courageous student)
• Thoams Hudson — Cherry Hill High School East (community service award)
• Sarah Kahn — Cherry Hill High School East (performing arts student)
• Nicole La Porta — Cherry Hill High School East (most improved student)
• Giancarlo Martines — Cherry Hill High School West (most improved student)
• Audrey Morgan — Camden Catholic High School (most courageous student)
