Mt. Laurel Police Report: March 19 to March 28

The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 51-year-old male of the unit block of West Bluebell Lane, on March 19 for the theft of eight copper air conditioning coils valued at $73,000. They were reported stolen on Aug. 30 from a business located on the 800 block of East Gate Drive. He was charged with theft and criminal mischief and released pending a court appearance.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 22-year-old female, of the 1100 block of Route 73, on March 20 for possession of heroin. Subsequent to a suspicious person complaint at 12:42 p.m., she was found to be in possession of heroin and a syringe. She also provided the name of another during arrest in an attempt to hinder her own prosecution. She was charged with tampering with records, wrongful impersonation, falsely incriminating another, hindering her own apprehension, and possession of a syringe. She was lodged at the Burlington County Work Release Center in lieu of $36,000 bail.

A resident of the 100 block of Chaucer Road reported a criminal mischief to a vehicle. The incident occurred between 7 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. March 20. A vehicle window was broken. Damage is estimated at $100.

A customer of Panera Bread on Centerton Road reported a theft. A wallet and contents valued at $105, was taken from a purse while it was hanging on the back of the chair. A fraudulent purchase was made at Target, also in the Centerton Square Shopping Center, using one of the stolen credit cards. The suspect is described as a male, 25 to 35 years old, approximately 200 to 250 pounds, with black rim glasses. The incident occurred between 6 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. March 20.

An employee of the Flavors of India restaurant on Route 38 reported receiving counterfeit money. The incident occurred on March 21 at approximately 7 p.m. Two males, approximately 18 to 20 years old, used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase food.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 44-year-old male of the 700 block of Lindsley Court, Burlington, on March 21, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Route 38 at 10:01 p.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated. Subsequent to arrest he was also found to be a wanted person out of Burlington County. He was lodged at the Burlington County Jail pending a court hearing.

A resident of the 100 block of Hastings Way reported a theft. A delivered Federal Express package, containing merchandise valued at $300, was taken from the front of the residence. The incident occurred sometime between noon and 2 p.m. on March 14.

A resident of the 300 block of Delancey Place reported a theft. A delivered USPS package, containing merchandise valued at $90, was taken from the front of the residence. The incident occurred between 2 p.m., March 19 and 6 p.m., March 21.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 49-year-old male of the 600 block of Walton Avenue Mt. Laurel, on March 22, for driving while intoxicated. Subsequent to a motor vehicle accident investigation at 6:23 p.m., he was found to be in possession of CDS. He was charged with possession of CDS, and driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
A resident of the 1100 block of Yarmouth Lane reported a theft. A United States Postal Service parcel, valued at $60, was taken after being delivered. The incident occurred between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., March 24.

A customer of the Home Deport on Nixon Drive reported a theft from an unsecured vehicle. The incident occurred between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., March 21. Power tools, valued at approximately $1,000, were taken.

A customer of the Home Depot reported a theft from an unsecured vehicle. The incident occurred between 5:20 p.m. and 5:35 p.m., March 21. Tools, valued at approximately $1,500, were taken.

An employee of a business on the unit block of Centerton Road reported a criminal mischief to their vehicle. The incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., March 26. Paint was thrown on a vehicle. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

An employee of a business on the 100 block of Gaither Drive reported a criminal mischief to their vehicle. The incident occurred between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 26. A vehicle was keyed. Damage is estimated at $250.

A guest of the Aloft Hotel on Fellowship Road reported the theft of a purse that was unintentionally left at the bar. The purse contained identification documents, credit cards and $1,000 cash. The incident occurred on March 27, between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The building manager of the Village II shopping center on South Church Street reported the theft of two commercial air conditioning units. The incident occurred between 4 p.m. March 26 and 9 a.m. March 27. The units are valued at $3,500 each.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 27-year-old male of the 1300 block of Augusta Circle, on March 28, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Route 73 at 2:48 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 50-year-old female of the unit block of Bon Air Drive, Marlton, on March 28, for terroristic threats. The incident occurred on the unit block of Eddlewood Place. The suspect threatened to kill another in the presence of police, who were assisting the Mount Laurel Fire Department. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
