Although winter is technically over, Shamong Township is anticipating one to three inches of snow Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning. The additional snow creates a much bigger challenge for township officials due to very limited salt supplies and the lack of salt available to our region. That being said, the township will again focus on salting and plowing its main roads. Please take extra caution when driving on secondary and neighborhood roads, which may only get salted at the intersections due to the limited salt supply.
