The Alice Paul Institute and Preservation Partners are celebrating Women’s History Month and the 350th anniversary of New Jersey by introducing the revised New Jersey Women’s History website, a resource for visiting sites of significance to women’s history in New Jersey, either online or by driving through the Garden State.
The website has a new website design, logo, upgraded content and an expanded section featuring the New Jersey Women’s Heritage Trail in a comprehensive and interactive format. The website was developed with financial assistance from a project grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State, and through the Discover NJ History License Plate Fund for Heritage Tourism Grant Program of the New Jersey Historic Trust.
The design was a collaborative project among the Alice Paul Institute, the New Jersey Women’s History website manager and historic preservation consultants Preservation Partners, authors of the New Jersey Women’s Heritage Trail, featuring over 150 women’s historic sites throughout New Jersey. In celebration of Women’s History Month, the website will feature the blog, “Jersey Girl Greats” by Maeve Kelly, spotlighting daily biographies of notable New Jersey women throughout the month of March.
