Amelia Frances Ryan, a 2010 Haddonfield Memorial High School graduate, recently co-authored a professional journal article published in GenBank.
The article is entitled, “Mycobacterium phage, Echild complete genome.”

Ryan, a senior biotechnology major and teaching assistant at LaSalle University, completed the work at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where she was participating in spring and fall programs. The programs were available to a selected group of professors and teaching assistants from universities across the country.
Ryan, a life-long Haddonfield resident, plans to further pursue her research while completing graduate studies in biotechnology.
