‘Beat the Winter Blues Comedy Night’ fundraiser set for March 7

The Shamong Foundation For Educational Excellence presents the eighth annual “Beat the Winter Blues Comedy Night.” The event will take place March 7 at Lucien’s Manor in Berlin from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Please join and support the efforts of the foundation for the benefit and enrichment of the Shamong School District. The event will include a cash bar, dinner, basket raffles, live auction and dancing. Tickets are $60 each.

The event will feature:

John Pizzi of the TV show “America’s Got Talent.” Pizzi is an energetic standup comic and ventriloquist, best known for his unique “one, two punch” style of humor. Pizzi has been on “America’s Got Talent” and headlines at the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas and The Borgata in Atlantic City. Pizzi is also a member of the Friars Club in New York City and Los Angeles.

Larry DeFelice, best known as the “Elf in the Golf Cart” in a holiday-themed Circuit City commercial and for a string of one-man shows on the NYC comedy club circuit. DeFelice has performed his unique brand of comedy for clubs, pubs, theaters and corporate events.

Vince Valentine. Valentine, a Philadelphia native and a stand-up comedian, has been performing Rob Becker’s one-man comedy show for seven years around the country and still loves getting up and doing it.
