Singing City event set for Feb. 9

Singing City and the SC Children’s Choir, under the direction of Jeffrey Brillhart, will host a concert, taking place on Sunday, Feb. 9. The event is at 3 p.m., at the Haddonfield United Methodist Church. The concert is inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Children’s March in Birmingham, Alabama. The march was the catalyst for bringing about the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964. The premiere of the Children’s March concert was held on April 26, 2013, as part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts. Singing City is thrilled to be bringing the work to audience members in New Jersey. For general admission tickets, the cost is $25. Student tickets are $10.
