Medford Police arrest male on drug charges after motor vehicle stop

On Jan. 17 at 11:52 p.m., Medford police conducted a motor vehicle stop to investigate a vehicle swerving on Hopewell Road. The stop led to the discovery of marijuana within the passenger compartment of the vehicle, as well as, a marijuana packed smoking pipe.

The defendant, a 47-year-old male from Sicklerville, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane. He was released on summons pending court.
