Residential robbery Jan. 14

Moorestown Police responded Jan. 14 at 5:40 p.m. to the report of a robbery that had taken place at a residence in the 100 block of W. Maple Ave. The residents returned home to find their front door kicked in. Entering the residence, they were confronted by a white male and female described as being in their mid to late 30’s. The male subject attempted to strike the male resident with his fist and threatened that he had a firearm. Neither resident was injured. The subjects then fled the area east on Maple Avenue towards Chester Avenue in a GMC Sierra Pickup with New Jersey registration MYL-85V. That vehicle had been reported stolen this morning to Monroe Township Police. It has not yet been determined if any property was stolen.
