Cherry Hill Fire Department launches Smoke Alarm Campaign

The Cherry Hill Fire Department has announced their launch 2014 Smoke Alarm Campaign. They have received further funding to continue an initiative that began in 2010; to protect the residents of Cherry Hill Township from fire.

Firefighters will be going door to door in different neighborhoods every weekend. We will be offering free smoke alarm testing and installation of new alarms. The list of neighborhoods will be updated each week on our website as well as the fire department’s Facebook page. Please check back to see when they will be in your neighborhood.

This campaign will increase awareness of the lifesaving role these alarms play when fire strikes, plus it will save lives. Letting firefighters install these alarms inside your house will ensure you can count on them to do their job when the unthinkable happens. These are free and available to all Cherry Hill residents. Please note they cannot service or replace hardwired alarms.

If you are in need of a smoke alarm immediately, please call (856) 429–7441 to schedule an appointment.

The dates are subject to change at any time due to emergency responses.
