Source4Teachers donates 300 toys to Christmas Toy Shop

Source4Teachers, a Cherry Hill-based leading provider of educational staffing solutions for pre-K to 12 school districts, is partnering with The Salvation Army this year by donating a total of 300 toys to the organization’s annual Christmas Toy Shop in three cities; Camden, Trenton and Jersey City. Source4Teachers selected these three cities based on need and the fact the company partners with school districts there.

Each year, The Salvation Army collects toys throughout the holiday season to help stock the shelves of their special Christmas Toy Shop, located at their headquarters at 915 Haddon Avenue in Camden. This year, the Toy Shop will hold and display over 2,000 toys for children of all ages. In the spirit of giving, The Salvation Army then offers 500 pre-selected families the opportunity to visit the shop prior to the Christmas holiday and “choose” the toys they want to give their children. In addition to the toys, each family will also receive a turkey and gift card to purchase additional food items for their holiday dinners.

“It is important for us to give back to the communities we serve, not just around the holidays, but all year,” said Kevin Bush, president, Source4Teachers.

In addition to participating in The Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy Shop this year, Source4Teachers is also partnering with schools districts throughout the state to collect and donate winter coats through One Warm Coat. The company’s year-round commitment to helping others has also included backpack and school supplies donations as well as organizing walkers and providing funding to support an organization dedicated to anti-bullying education and initiatives.
