Free Jazz concert to kick off Mt. Laurel Library’s Second Sunday series in 2014

Thanks to a generous grant from Wegmans, the library is offering a free afternoon of jazz with the Brian Betz Quartet featuring Denis DiBlasio on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. at Mount Laurel Library. This concert is open to the public. No registration needed.

Brian Betz is a guitarist, composer and educator who resides in the Philadelphia Area. He was a two-time winner of the Betty Carter International Jazz Competition and a runner up for the 2006 Henry Mancini Jazz competition.

Baritone saxophonist Denis DiBlasio directs the jazz program at Rowan University. With nine recordings of his own along with published texts, arrangements, and compositions, DiBlasio is known throughout the world. The quartet will feature guitar, sax, drums and bass.
