Delran, Mt. Laurel Police looking for information on bank robberies

The following information was provided by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.

The public is being asked to provide information in an attempt to help solve three bank robberies that took place earlier this month in Delran, Mount Laurel and Willingboro that law enforcement officials believe may be connected.

For reasons that cannot be divulged due to the ongoing investigation, law enforcement officials suspect the robberies described below may have been committed by the same individual or individuals who are working together.

In Delran on Nov. 8 at 5:20 p.m., a male entered the Roma Bank located at 80 Hartford Road and handed a slip to the teller indicating he had a gun and instructed her to hand over cash. The suspect took the money and fled the bank.

In Mt. Laurel on Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m., a male wearing a ski mask entered the Beneficial Bank located at 3220 Route 38. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money, which was given to him by a teller.

In Willingboro on Nov. 15 at 5:54 p.m., a black male entered the TD Bank located at 13 Levitt Parkway and handed a teller a note indicating he had a gun and demanding money.

These cases are being jointly investigated by the Delran Police Department, the Mt. Laurel Police Department, the Willingboro Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Roma Bank and the FBI have posted a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
