Christmas tree lighting is Nov. 29

If you have written your letter to Santa, bring it to the Christmas tree lighting on Friday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m.

The lighting will be held in Nicholson Park at Library Point.

Be sure to bring a flashlight.

Remember those in need also. Bring canned goods with you for the food bank. Boxes will be available on the Haddon Avenue side of the Library steps.

The Haddonfield Memorial High School choir will be there to entertain with songs. Afterward there will be a count down to light the big Christmas tree which will signal the arrival of Santa Claus. Santa will be driven by one of our own committee elves.

The children will then follow Santa to Kings Highway and Kings Court. Santa will greet the children and hear wishes at the Kings Court gazebo and his elves will give out candy canes. Santa letters may be placed in the mailbox. Be sure to include a return address so Santa can write back.

In case of rain or snow, the event will take place Nov. 30.

Donations can be sent to the Haddonfield Celebrations Association, P.O. Box 15, Haddonfield, NJ 08033, with Pay Pal through www.HaddonfieldCelebrations.org, or by credit card at the Haddonfield Visitor’s Center located at 2 Kings Court, 216–7253.
