Arrest made following bomb threat at Cherry Hill East

The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.

On Nov. 14, Cherry Hill Police arrested a township resident on two counts of terroristic threats and two counts of creating a false public alarm.

A 20-year-old male of the unit block of Banner Road was taken into custody yesterday by Cherry Hill Police Detectives, who determined that he was the primary suspect responsible for calling in bomb threats to Cherry Hill High School East on Nov. 12 and 13.

The suspect confessed to his actions and was charged accordingly. He was released on complaint summonses and left the Police Administration Building with his parents. His first appearance in Camden County Superior Court is scheduled for Nov. 21.
