HOPE Church to host tree lighting event
Bring your whole family, friends, neighbors and workmates to HOPE Church on Saturday, Nov. 30.
That’s when HOPE’s Annual Community Christmas Tree-Lighting Event will take place starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be an outdoor stage filled with musical performers, booths with fun children’s activities, hot chocolate and cider, popcorn and cookies and tons of good old-fashioned Christmas fun. Even that bearded guy in the red suit will make an appearance atop a fire truck! There will also be a drawing for a $100 visa Gift Card. All are welcome. This event is free and open to the public. HOPE Church is located at 700 Cooper Road.
HOPE Church offers a relaxed, contemporary Christian worship experience and is open to all no matter where they are in their spiritual journey. There are two Sunday morning worship services held each week at 9 and 10:30 a.m.
Age-appropriate and biblically based activities are available during both services for children ages 3 years through fifth grade.
HOPE’s C.H.O.S.E.N. Ministry has trained volunteer buddies for children with special needs. In addition, HOPE offers a staffed nursery for infants through 2-year-olds. There is also a family room available in the back of the worship space. For more details visit MeetHope.org.
