Opinion: Stroemel committed to Voorhees’ high standards
I am writing this letter supporting my friend, Kurt Stroemel for Voorhees Township Committee.
Kurt has lived in Voorhees for more than 15 years and has been an extremely active member of the community. Kurt has worked in local government over the years serving as Vice-Chairman of the Voorhees Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and he also served on the Voorhees Township Economic Development Community.
Kurt, along with his wife Karen, raised their daughter Kelly Jo in Voorhees because they recognized the importance of a strong education. He is dedicated to working with the schools to ensure our children continue to receive the kind of strong educational foundation his daughter was afforded growing up in our community.
In addition to being a fulltime CPA and taking an active role in raising his daughter, Kurt found time to volunteer for the Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club and the Good Looking Foundation, which assists families living with autism. Kurt finds time to act as the Treasurer of the Camden County College Foundation so the opportunity to attend college is accessible to all. As if this all wasn’t enough, Kurt has volunteered for the Kirkwood Lake Environmental Committee.
Kurt is committed to our community’s high standards with regard to our police force, municipal services schools and safe parks. It is my honor to support Kurt Stroemel for Voorhees Township Committee on Tuesday Nov. 5.
