On Oct. 12, Marlton Elks will hold another Best of Marlton Homemade Chili Contest. The contest consists of homemade chilis submitted in a crockpot and judged by local residents in a simple vote.

This great event is in its fifth year and each has been a huge success.

On Oct. 12, at approximately 3 p.m., the contest will begin at 428 Evesboro-Medford Road, home of the Elks.

Participants can taste and vote (cost $10) and determine which is the best Marlton chili. Chili’s can be entered with a large sample and a crockpot at 2 p.m.
