County offers grant funding for art programs

Burlington County nonprofit arts organizations and community groups that offer arts programming to county residents are invited to apply for 2014 grant funding. The “notice of intent to apply” must be filed by Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 4 p.m.

Aimed at making the arts an affordable and integral part of the community, the competitive matching grant dollars are offered by Burlington County in partnership with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State through the Local Arts Program. The limited funding may be used for arts-related activities conducted between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2014.

Call (609) 265–5959 to register and to get directions. Another workshop will be schedule for organizations who call and cannot attend on August 26.
