Last Thursday evening, Mt. Laurel Grey, a talented group of Mt. Laurel girls’ softball players, beat Washington Township to win the 15-and-under bracket of the Gloucester City Softball Tournament.
In winning the championship, the girls had to defeat another Mt. Laurel team, as well as Gloucester Township, Bellmawr and Washington Township twice. The combined run differential for the tournament was a whopping 53–7.

The team was managed by Al Reithmeier, whose Mt. Laurel teams have now won 3 straight Gloucester City Tournaments and coached by Larry Ninerell and Mike Chow.
