LETTER: Senates passes bill that is anti-U.S. citizen worker

The Senate in its “can’t wait to read the bill or understand its implications” hurry passed an immigration bill that is the most anti-U.S. citizen worker legislation ever.

It will affect your income and help insure any unemployed American stays unemployed longer.

“Registered provisional immigrants” former illegal immigrants granted legal status to remain in America, are by this law ineligible for Obamacare.

Employers who hire U.S. citizens as workers and can’t afford to offer health insurance would pay a $3,000 penalty. Penalties are not tax deductible, so in effect it will cost business $5,000 to hire a U.S. citizen over a formerly illegal immigrant.

Is that change you can believe in?

Now this will especially hurt low-skilled American citizens. The working poor will get poorer and suffer yet greater unemployment. But this will also affect every other American who still has a job. Because these 11 million illegal immigrants, and it could be as high as 20 million, will cause all wage rates downward. If you think getting a raise is hard now, just wait!

Lenin was famous for saying that a capitalist would sell you the rope that communists would use to hang them.

Now, I can’t tell you whether the 68 US senators who voted for this bill are economic illiterates or if this legislation is meant to force US worker wages lower to benefit certain business interests, but regardless Americans will be seeing their wages cut if this becomes law. Is this how Obama wants to change America, creating certain special classes of people with special rights?

Can you describe this legislation as anything except un-American as it violates the most basic of concept of equality of all men before the law?

It’s time to actively oppose anyone who supported this legislation as they have shown their true colors.
