LETTER: Council members discuss June 4 Primary Elections

In 2012, Medford turned a new leaf with a new township council that was independent of New Jersey’s big-party politics.

The June 4 Primary brings with it important reasons for you to re-elect Beenstock, Pace and Watson for Medford Township Council.

One of the critical elements of the success of our first two years has been the balance and dedication of this council.
It is truly unique to have five people serving together who are willing to listen to each other and to the public, with the sole intention of finding the best solutions to problems facing our town.

This year, we are asking for you to help keep Medford moving in a positive direction. We have a good thing going and now is not the time to turn back to “politics as usual.”

In less than two years, we have transformed our municipality into a highly efficient, accessible and transparent local government.

We have replaced government expenditures with opportunities for volunteerism and community service and have left no stone unturned in our quest for leaner, friendlier government. We have accomplished a lot in our first two years, but our work is not yet complete.

Please vote in the June 4 Primary.

When you do, make sure you vote from the bottom up. Vote Watson, Pace and Beenstock and keep Medford headed in the right direction.

Chuck Watson, Randy Pace and Jeff Beenstock
