NY Times bestselling author to speak at Burlington County Library

Lisa Scottoline, the New York Times bestselling author of 20 novels, will discuss her inspiration for writing and her newly-released book “Don’t Go” when she appears in the Burlington County Library System’s new auditorium on Sunday, June 2 from 2 to 4 p.m.

This special fundraising event will be the first author appearance sponsored by the Friends of Burlington County Library, Inc. to be held in the new state-of-the-art, 250-seat auditorium attached to library headquarters in Westampton.

Tickets, which cost $25 per person and include a hardcover copy of “Don’t Go,” may be purchased in advance at the Bestsellers Café located in the library headquarters’ lobby.

A much sought after speaker at library and corporate events, Lisa Scottoline has over 30 million copies of her books in print and is published in over 35 countries. Her books have appeared on all the major bestseller lists, including The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Publisher’s Weekly, Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times.

Scottoline’s novels include the thrillers “Save Me,” “Think Twice,” “Look Again,” “Come Home,” and her latest, “Don’t Go,” the gripping tale of an army doctor who returns home from Afghanistan only to discover that the life he left behind has fallen apart.

Scottoline also writes the weekly column “Chick Wit” with her daughter Francesca Serritella for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

These and other stories have been collected in four books, including their most recent, “Meet Me at Emotional Baggage Claim.”

Residents are encouraged to purchase their tickets early for this special author’s event, which has limited seating. Tickets may be purchased with cash, Visa/MasterCard, or checks made payable to Friends of Burlington County Library, Inc.
