UPDATE: Union County murder suspect, Caleb Lawrence McGillvary, is no longer in the state, Haddonfield Police Chief John Banning confirmed this afternoon. The investigation is under Union County’s jurisdiction.

Banning said ongoing updates have been sent from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office to the Haddonfield Police Department.
The exact time the suspect was supposedly spotted at the Haddonfield PATCO station was unknown and he is not being sought in the area, Banning said.

Submitted by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office — Union County’s search for Caleb Lawrence McGillvary, a drifter wanted in connection with a homicide is not begin sought in this area. Union County investigators received information that he had caught a train in Haddonfield some time Tuesday, but that there is no evidence that he is still in this area, and in fact has likely left the state.
