LETTER: Here is how to conserve water

I have been reading in the paper about how we can save water in Haddonfield. Here is another way.

For the last few years, I have connected the drain from my air conditioner to my laundry tub, which holds 30 gallons or more of water. I have a sump pump placed in the tub and I attach a hose and I have watered flowers, lawn, plants and even washed my car with free water.

This could save thousands of gallons of water in Haddonfield if at least half of the residents in town would give it a try.
