Area companies merge to create Home to Stay

Private duty home care operators Assisted Living at Home and Home to Stay Health Care Solutions recently merged to create Home to Stay, LLC. The agency is now one of the largest independent owner-operated caregiver companies serving seniors and individuals with disabilities in South Jersey.

Headquartered in Cherry Hill, Home to Stay provides specialized 24 hour live-in home care, dementia services as well as hourly care to a population traditionally thought of as assisted living or nursing home residents.

The merger combines and broadens the Home to Stay caregiver expertise that addresses concerns of seniors wanting to age in place, home care affordability when compared to long-term care options, and the Sandwich Generation seeking respite care for elderly family members.

Unique to Home to Stay is its AlzBetter program, a revolutionary in-home program specifically designed to assist seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia. The program was developed in association with international dementia experts such as Kerry Mills, owner of Engaging Alzheimer’s LLC, developers of care strategies specific to the diagnosed person.

“Our knowledge of behavioral best practices and comprehensive family educational component puts us in the forefront of live-in dementia care expertise,” said Home to Stay’s Director Gary Skole, founder of Assisted Living at Home.
