School district responds to arrest of teacher

The following letter to parents was posted today on the Cherry Hill Public School District’s website.

Dear Parents:

I am writing to make you aware that a Cherry Hill East teacher was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred at a store in Cherry Hill on Friday.

The district was notified of the arrest on Monday and the employee was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

At this point in the investigation, there is no indication, nor any allegation, of inappropriate behavior involving any Cherry Hill student.

A safe learning environment for students remains our top priority. As always, our building and central administrators are available to respond to your concerns.

Sincerely,
Maureen Reusche, Ed.D.
Superintendent
